Paying by Instalments

Don't think you can afford to pay?
SPER provides a range of payment options to suit most budgets. Instalment Plans are available for regular weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly or monthly payments. SPER can arrange for these instalments to be deducted from your bank account, credit card or Centrelink payment automatically so you don't have to worry about missing a payment.

You can apply for an Instalment Plan by:

Contacting the Call Centre by phone

Visiting a local Queensland Magistrates Court in person.

Downloading and sending an application by post or fax

Returning the detachable form on your SPER Reminder Notice.

If the Registrar of SPER identifies further unpaid fines in your name they will be included in your Instalment Plan. This reduces the risk of enforcement action being taken against you for any unpaid fine while you continue to make regular payments.

Payment - How, When and Where
Most people prefer the convenience of paying by BPAY or by direct debit. Payment can be automatically deducted from your bank account or credit card. You can also choose to pay in person at Australia Post or at any Queensland Magistrates Court or QGAP Office.

You can make an application for an Instalment Plan by contacting the SPER Call Centre on 1300 365 635 or by downloading the Instalment Plan application and Direct Debit form.
